The first still life I’ve painted.
It was a rainy morning. I was sitting in our dinning table and was fascinated by the fire like dragon fruit. I then remembered, I’ve always wanted to do a still life painting. I took the dragon fruit, along with some apple, a basket, a scarf, and a jar I found inside our home. I brought them to my studio room, started to arrange, and boy! what a joy of creating the composition! The rainy day inspired me so much. I was carefree, I needed to finish the piece before the fruits start to rott, so I just let my creativity flow, painting with thick blob of oil paint, using palette knife and brushes. This fresh fruits with vibrant colors will surely give positive vibe in one’s home.
