“Tigress” is inspired by the Chinese New Year 2022 animal; Water Tiger. The orange sunset that reflects on the water gives that feeling of warmth, energy, optimism, and strength. The green modern Igorot attire gives the painting a cool contrast and a touch of culture. Both the subjects symbolises bravery, strength and power. It is painted with vivid brush strokes to give more artistic appeal. As a whole, I wish to bring inspiration that no matter what life throws us, we are strong, courageous, a warrior, and we are capable of getting through.
