Frequently Asked Questions by Artists
Qualified to sell on Pahiyas Art are emerging and professional artists who are:
- born or based in the Philippines
- based outside the Philippines whose lineage or root can be traced to a Filipino parent or relatives.
First you need to create an account here and upload a government-issued photo ID. We will review your application and send you an email if approved/rejected. Once you are approved, you can begin uploading your artwork and start selling.
Yes! You will have your own virtual gallery at https://pahiyasart.com/artists/YOUR_NAME to showcase your portfolio and information about yourself, your achievements and your artist’s statement.
We are not charging any fees to join and sell at Pahiyas Art.
You have all the freedom to set the price of your artwork. You can even put your artwork on sale and name your discounted price through the Gallery Manager.
For every original artwork sold, the Artist shall share 20% of the artwork price to Pahiyas Art. It will cover the cost of maintaining the website as well as for advertising and marketing expenses.
You can request payout 7 days after your artwork has been safely delivered to the collector. The funds will be made available in your Gallery Manager. Payments will be sent to you thru Paypal, bank deposit or money remittance 14 days from the date of your request for withdrawal.
Yes you can but please inform us immediately so we can modify the status of the artwork. You can also have it marked sold or deleted in your list of artworks in the Gallery Manager prior to selling outside Pahiyas Art.
Paintings, digital art and photographs are accepted for now.
Your artwork must be signed at the front, back or both.
All artwork image files must be in JPG or PNG format. The maximum required resolution is 1200pixels on the longest side (width or length has a maximum of 1200 px).
Artworks need not be framed as clients would prefer to frame their purchased artwork. It will also be cheaper to ship when unframed.
No. The shipping cost will be passed on to the buyer. But it will be your responsibility to ship the artwork thru a reputable and reliable courier. You can consider adding an extra on top of the price for packaging your artwork as most couriers require the artwork to be packed properly.
An artwork should be covered in plastic to protect against moisture and encased in a bubble wrap or foamboard. Cardboard corner protector must also be placed in all corners. Before putting inside a wooden crate or corrugated box, sandwich the artwork with styrofoam or crampled newspapers to keep the artwork from moving and fit securely in the box.
Should an artwork gets damaged upon delivery, Pahiyas Art will coordinate with you, the buyer and the courier to discuss the damage and come up with possible solutions.
