How to Add Artworks for Auction
Add new Artwork
From the Artist Dashboard, click Auction -> Add New Auction Artwork button.
Add Artwork Details
Enter the artwork title, description, upload image and other information
Add Bid Prices
Enter the start price, bid increment, reserved prize and end and start date
Save Artwork
Click the Save Artwork button to make your artwork appear in frontend and start the auction.
How to Add Artworks for Auction
Adding artworks for auction is almost similar to adding artworks in the Pahiyas Art platform.
1. From the Artist’ Dashboard, click on the Auction link found on the left sidebar. Your list of artworks for auction will appear.
2. Click the Add New Auction Artwork button to add new artwork for auction.
3. Enter details of your artwork and upload images. Specific details for auction are the following:
- Start Price
- Bid Increment
- Reserve Price
- Buy it now price
- Auction Start date
- Auction End date
4. Save Artwork to make your artwork appear on frontend.
You can track the activity of each auction product. You will get data on who is bidding, the amount, user email, etc.
Just click on the Auctions Activity button from Dashboard –> Auctions.
1. Artist who owns the winning artwork shall be paid after 14 days from the date the buyer confirms the artwork has been received in order and good condition.
2. Pahiyas Art will send payment to the submitted payment option. Transaction fees, if any, shall be shouldered by the artist.

No. If the reserve price is not met, the artist is not required to sell the item, even to the highest bidder.
Shipping fee shall be paid by buyer but the artist shall shoulder it first to ship the artwork. Fee will be reimbursed along with the payment for the artwork.
Glossary
Your starting or opening bid is the suggested minimum bid for an auction artwork.
The amount a bid increases is known as the bid increment. Each artwork has their own bid increments set by the artists. You can bid by the next available increment. When someone outbids you, you will receive an email. You can then return to the auction at Pahiyas Art to place a higher bid to stay in the lead.
Ex. Starting bid is Php1000 and bid increment is set at Php 100. The bidder must bid by 1100, next by 1200, 1300, etc.
A reserve price is a minimum price that an artist would be willing to accept from a buyer. In an auction, the artist is not typically required to disclose the reserve price to potential buyers. If the reserve price is not met, the artist is not required to sell the item, even to the highest bidder. The message “Reserve price has not been met” is shown in the artwork page.
It the artist offers a Buy Now option, you can purchase that artwork immediately at a price set by the artist. It is shown in the artwork page along with the price.
