Since COVID-19 started last December 2019, we have lost a lot of doctors and frontliners. It has been with a heavy heart that we’ve lost a friend, a husband, a parent, and a son. We must do our part in protecting the frontliners by keeping in mind the precautions we need to make. Our actions not only affect us but other people as well. It takes a decade to make a doctor and it takes a day to lose one. They made a promise, and that promise is to commit to saving lives. If you don’t want them to be the patient themselves, let them be doctors that will save us when we need them.
Marinel Kristine Balde is a self taught artist that started her art business, “The Blue Surrealist” last June 2019. She has sold artworks and had exhibited with Art Show Philippines. She has a collaboration with Brewer than Brew and is currently working with Pahiyas Art Gallery. She has been a finalist in the One Reference Still Life Challenge by The Arts Uplifters. She believes that art is a way to change people’s lives through surrealism and abstractivism. She is being mentored by Mark Shellshear, Roy Abihay and Ariel Buenviaje.
