Born in Lucban, Quezon, he went on to study at the University of Santo Tomas – College of Fine Arts and earned the Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Advertising degree. He found his way around some of the best ad agencies in Manila to excel as an Art Director, Creative Director, up to his ending role as Head of Creatives.
After 35 years in the industry he moved on to his next chapter, which reunited him to his very first love, painting. His art pays homage to his favorite subjects: street vendors, dalagang Pilipina, farmers and Pahiyas theme.
The peace and charm of the province, “ang mga nasa paligid ko”, are central to his art.
