Roy Legaspi

Roy TABIOLO LEGASPI is a talented Filipino visual artist born and raised in Cavite. Growing up, Roy exhibited an exceptional artistic talent, receiving accolades and recognition as an artist of the year during his elementary and junior high school years. He had the opportunity to study under the hands of Maestro Jessie Marinas from the Jessie Marinas School of Paintings, this is where he learned various techniques and deepen his understanding of art history and theory.

He is working as a full-time construction worker and a part-time painter at the same time. A fusion of industrial elements and vibrant colors characterizes Roy’s artwork. He draws inspiration from his experiences in the construction industry, capturing the raw energy and structural beauty found in urban landscapes and architectural forms. His works often incorporate mixed media, utilizing materials like metal, wood, and concrete to add depth and texture to his creations.
